Christmas is a depressing time for most people. It is a season marked by greater emotional stress & more acts of violence than any other time of the year.
Christmas is an excuse to get drunk, have a party, get something, overeat, give a little, leave work, get out of school, overeat, spend money, visit family you don't always get on with --‐ have I forgotten anything ?
Oh yes & overeat.
But for Christians - you & me, it is an excuse to exalt Jesus & seize the opportunity to invite our friends & family to one of our services. For them, it could be their merriest Christmas of all.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will open people to your invitation.
Col 4:5 “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.”
